  • this is the most absurd thing i’ve ever seen

  • This seems silly but it’s extremely sinister: Essentially, the massively wealthy tech guys don’t want to pay taxes for the rest of the state. They’re finding it harder to make over the entire state in their own image than it was to make over San Francisco, and so they’d rather have a little state they can completely control and dominate.
